Job summary

EY Wellington seeks a Senior Manager to design and build cloud data and AI solutions using Snowflake. You will lead data ingestion, modeling and integration, mentor junior engineers, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data platforms.

Preferred location is Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington) with the possibility to consider Auckland or Christchurch office locations. Roles may be adjusted to flexibly reduce hours, and you will shape data strategy within EY's global network.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to join our team as a Snowflake Solution Architect. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work at the forefront of data engineering and integration, with a specific focus on designing and building cloud data and AI solutions using Snowflake and the ecosystem of tools that are part of the wider solution architecture. You will play a crucial role in designing the solution architecture, enabling data ingestion and transformation pipelines, designing data models and data products, and creating user-friendly interfaces that empower users to interact with complex data through data visualization tools and natural language interfaces. This position offers a unique chance to contribute to innovative projects while also providing mentorship and technical leadership to junior team members.

In line with client requirements, the preferred location for this role is in our Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington) office, we are also able to consider candidates for other office locations in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) or Ōtautahi(Christchurch) office . Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.
