Job summary

Construction and Technical Recruitment is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a well-regarded main contractor delivering commercial projects across New Zealand, including Auckland. You will take responsibility for day-to-day site operations, lead subcontractors, manage programmes and maintain high health and safety, quality and workmanship standards.

The role offers ownership, a collaborative team environment and real opportunities to advance within a forward-thinking construction

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Site Manager or Site Supervisor with a New Zealand main contractor.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily site operations and coordinate construction activities.
• Lead and supervise subcontractors and site personnel.
• Manage construction programmes and ensure milestones are achieved.
• Maintain high workmanship, quality and health and safety standards.
• Coordinate materials, resources and subcontractor requirements.
• Identify and resolve site challenges in a practical, proactive manner.
• Work closely with Project Managers, consultants and clients.
• Ensure projects are delivered efficiently, safely and to the required standard.
