Fulton Hogan is seeking an experienced Pavement - Senior Site Engineer to join the Ōtaki to North Levin project (Te Pae o Tararua). You will oversee quality, planning, set-out and day-to-day delivery of construction works, working with supervisors, project engineers and the crew to turn design into reality safely and on time.
This Roads of National Significance project focuses on upgrading SH1 between Ōtaki and North Levin, improving safety and travel efficiency.

You’ll bring strong pavement experience and be trusted to oversee quality, planning, set-out and day-to-day delivery of construction works safely on time and to specification. Working shoulder to shoulder with supervisors, project engineers and the wider crew, you’ll help turn design into reality and keep work moving in the right direction.

The Ōtaki to North Levin (Te Pae o Tararua) project focuses on upgrading the transport link along State Highway 1 (SH1) between Ōtaki and North Levin to improve road safety, reduce congestion, enhance travel efficiency, and support regional economic growth. It is one of the Government's Roads of National Significance and is being undertaken by two Alliances - the north (delivered by partners Fulton Hogan , HEB, WSP and Aurecon) and south (delivered by partners Downer, McConnell Dowell, Beca and Tonkin+Taylor).
This exciting new four-lane 24.8km highway project will dramatically improve safety and resilience, providing better access to walking and cycling facilities for those moving around or through the Horowhenua and Kāpiti districts.
