Job summary

Fulton Hogan Limited, a leading infrastructure and civil construction company, is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Canterbury team. This hands-on role leads planning, delivery and reporting across civil projects, working with crews, subcontractors and clients to keep quality, cost and programme on track.

You'll be expected to make practical decisions, solve problems early and foster a safe, collaborative site culture.

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and solid civil construction experience.
• 2+ years of experience as a Project Engineer on projects greater than $5M.
• Proven experience in asphalt, surfacing, pavements or broader civil construction.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and onsite resources to keep delivery on track.
• A strong safety focus and a practical, solutions-driven mindset.
• Confidence leading crews, resolving issues and making good calls under pressure.
• A collaborative, team-first approach and the ability to build strong working relationships across crews, clients and delivery partners.
