Job summary

Qualifications

• At least three years of relevant experience or a Level 4 qualification.
• Proven experience in operating, programming, and maintaining CNC machines.
• Experience in CNC laser, router, turret punch, and brake press operation.
• Experience with CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, and AutoCAD.
• Engineering drawing interpretation and file preparation.
• Metal fabrication and sheet material processing.
• Tooling selection, machine setup, and preventative maintenance.
• Quality inspection, measuring equipment, and fault-finding.
• Industrial machine safety and compliance.
• End-to-end manufacturing from design to finished product.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment.
• Leadership and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Safe, accurate, and efficient operation of CNC routers, laser cutting machines, and press brake/bending equipment.
• Working with specialist software programmes in the operation of CNC machinery.
• Producing signs and components in accordance with approved drawings and schedules.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety for yourself and others.
• Maintaining specialist machines and their software components.
• Training and guiding others.
