Job summary

Lamson NZ Limited in East Tamaki, North Island, is seeking a technician to commission, maintain, fault-find and repair pneumatic tube systems. The role is based in both the workshop and on the road, with a service vehicle provided.

Key responsibilities include servicing faults, hospital and supermarket installations, on-site commissioning, wiring and layout interpretation, and liaising with site supervision. The position involves rostered on-call, evenings and weekend work.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Technical and fault diagnosis logic and repair background.
• Experience gained in prior New Zealand based roles.
• Strong communication skills - verbal and written communication.
• Computer competency - Microsoft Suite, Simpro.
• Work experience of 5+ years in a New Zealand technical role.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical wiring, electronics and electrical drawings.
• Experience with data and cabling - reading and interpretation.
• Strong computer skills including programming knowledge and capability.
