Job summary

Beca is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to protect information assets and technology platforms while guiding our digital transformation. In the Technology team, you will work with architects, engineers and platform owners to embed security across cloud environments, applications and data platforms.

You will contribute to security reviews, threat modelling, incident response, and the development of standards and controls, using Microsoft security technologies, and staying ahead of evolving

Qualifications

• Significant experience in security engineering, cybersecurity, cloud security or infrastructure security in medium to large environments.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST CSF and related standards.
• Experience with threat modelling, risk assessments and security controls.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to security architecture reviews and threat modelling.
• Lead security assurance activities and incident response.
• Develop security standards, patterns and controls for enterprise use.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to embed security into delivery and operations.
• Provide guidance on security across cloud environments, applications and data platforms.
