Bluecurrent is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to join our team in New Zealand. You will build scalable, high-quality Salesforce solutions and work with stakeholders across functions to turn strategic ideas into tangible outcomes that support our business goals.

Bring 5+ years of Salesforce development and software engineering experience, with deep knowledge of Apex, LWC, REST/SOAP APIs, and modern Salesforce capabilities.

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to join our team. Bring your expertise to build scalable, high-quality solutions - collaborating with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to turn ideas into outcomes that support our strategic goals.

What success looks like in this role

• Solutions are well designed, scalable, and aligned to business needs, supporting long-term outcomes - assisting with developing and operating applications, completing user testing, change management processes, user support, liaising with third parties, documenting processes etc.
• Business requirements are clearly understood and translated into practical, high-quality technical solutions.
• Applications run reliably, with issues resolved quickly and effectively to minimise disruption.
• The team is supported and growing, with knowledge shared and capability strengthened through mentoring.
• New tools, technologies, and ideas are introduced to improve how solutions are delivered.
• Collaboration across teams leads to better outcomes and stronger delivery.

What you’ll bring

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, mentoring others, and introducing new technologies to continuously improve how we work and deliver value. You will ideally bring:

• 5+ years Salesforce development experience and 5+ years of Software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in Apex, LWC, Flows, APIs, and Salesforce platform capabilities.
• Strong experience with integration patterns, REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, DevOps practices, and modern Salesforce capabilities such as Agentforce, Data Cloud, and Field Service
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce SDLC, Apex trigger frameworks, reusable business logic, and governor limits.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, SFDX, VS Code, and Salesforce deployment and release management processes.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Experience mentoring others
• A proactive mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation
