Job summary

Cromwell Architectural Envelopes Limited is seeking two intermediate level sheetmetal fabricators and installers to join our team, working on standing seam roofing, cladding, flashings and rainwater goods across South Island projects.

This full-time role offers a competitive hourly rate, 32–40 hours per week, and opportunities for growth; travel to project sites will be required subject to H&S standards, with PPE provided.

Qualifications

• At least three years of demonstrable experience in a related industry is required.

Responsibilities

• Fabricating and installing European style standing seam metal roofing, cladding, flashings and rainwater goods, including non-ferrous material, lead, slate and shingles.
• Organising flashing orders lists for workshop fabrication for the site foreman
• Positionings parts and subassemblies
• Operating fabricating machines such as rolls, shears, and folding machine
• Ensuring all customer interactions are positive, polite, and respectful
• Conducting all interactions with colleagues and managers in an open and collaborative manner to facilitate the best outcome for all required tasks
• Attending staff meetings and training as required
• Contributing to the implementation of the Safety Management System and of the equipment inventory
• Travelling to the projects site, subject to H&S requirements
• Supervising junior staff if required
