Job summary

Cromwell Architectural Envelopes Limited is a specialist roofing and cladding company in the South Island. We are looking for two intermediate level sheetmetal fabricators and installers who want to advance their craftsmanship and take their skills to the next level, with at least three years of demonstrable experience in a related industry.

Key tasks include fabricating and installing European style standing seam metal roofing and cladding, organising flashing orders, operating rolls, shears

Qualifications

• At least three years of demonstrable experience in a related industry.
• Experience fabricating and installing standing seam metal roofing and cladding.
• Ability to organise flashing orders for workshop fabrication and site use.

Responsibilities

• Fabricating and installing European style standing seam metal roofing, cladding, flashings and rainwater goods.
• Organising flashing orders lists for workshop fabrication for the site foreman.
• Positioning parts and subassemblies.
• Operating fabricating machines such as rolls, shears, and folding machine.
• Ensuring all customer interactions are positive, polite, and respectful.
• Attending staff meetings and training as required.
• Contributing to the Safety Management System and equipment inventory.
• Traveling to project sites as required by H&S requirements.
• Supervising junior staff if required.
