Reserve Bank of New Zealand is seeking a Senior Analyst in the Risk Specialists team based in Auckland or Wellington. The role focuses on technology risk, cyber resilience and regulatory compliance to strengthen New Zealand’s financial system.

You will provide in-depth analysis, support supervision initiatives and develop cyber resilience frameworks with regulators and stakeholders. The role requires solid analytical skills, experience in risk, GRC or information security, and the ability to

Competenze

• At least 3 years’ relevant professional experience in banking, insurance, financial markets, consulting, technology risk, cyber security, GRC, or at another central bank
• Experience in operational resilience, ideally including technology risk and/or cyber resilience
• A relevant tertiary qualification
• Strong analytical and research skills, including experience in policy analysis or designing data collections
• An understanding of financial systems, particularly New Zealand’s banking and regulatory frameworks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical matters to technical and non-technical audiences
• The proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and agencies
• A proactive, resilient and collaborative approach
• Sound judgement and the ability to think holistically across a broad range of issues
• Knowledge and application of TeTiritioWaitangi
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain the appropriate level of New Zealand national security clearance, as required
