Job summary

IDO-IMMIGRATION CONSULTING LIMITED is seeking a Senior Security Specialist in Wellington to lead technology risk and regulatory compliance initiatives. You will work within the NZ Security, Technology and Risk Centre of Expertise, coordinating with business units to ensure governance across NZ, Australia and Europe regulatory obligations.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Technology Operational Risk and Compliance.
• Familiarity with IT Governance practices and quality reporting.
• Data literate with ability to apply analytics using BI tools.
• Experience working with Controls.
• Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability to change.

Responsibilities

• Work within the New Zealand Security, Technology and Risk Centre of Expertise focusing on Technology Operational Risk and Compliance.
• Be responsible for timely preparation, quality presentation, and careful management of New Zealand Technology content for forums, committees and Board meetings.
• Join a stable team that has adopted agile practices and emphasizes continuous improvement.
• Deliver value beyond BAU by supporting pivotal initiatives guided by a clear Product Owner.
• Use data to surface insights and build fact-based narratives to aid risk choices.
• Coach analysts to grow skills and improve performance.
