Job summary

Foodstuffs North Island Limited is seeking a data analytics professional to turn store-level data into practical insights that drive performance, labour productivity, and cost efficiency across our retail network.

You will partner with Retail Operations, Demand Planning, and Programme teams, mentor analysts, and lead complex analytical workstreams using Power BI, SQL, BigQuery, and advanced Excel to deliver measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering performance-focused outcomes in complex retail, grocery, or large-scale operational environments.
• Ability to translate data into practical, commercially relevant recommendations.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leaders through evidence-based analysis.
• Comfortable leading cross-functional analytical initiatives and coaching analysts.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex analytical workstreams from problem definition through insight, recommendation, and implementation support.
• Deliver actionable insights that improve performance, labour productivity, and operational excellence.
• Translate complex data into clear, commercially relevant recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Support stores with targeted analysis and insight-led recommendations.
• Coach and mentor analysts to raise capability and analytical standards across the team.
• Contribute to the evolution of reporting, frameworks, and centralized services for member stores.
