Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Information Security Consultant to deliver expert advisory services from a home office. You will assess security risks, develop strategic recommendations, and help clients strengthen their cybersecurity posture across industries.

In this remote role you will work autonomously, manage your own schedule, and engage with a diverse client base globally. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM or CRISC are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of information security consulting or senior role.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, and SOC 2 frameworks.
• Experience in risk assessment, vulnerability management and security architecture.
• Excellent client-facing communication and presentation skills.
• Certifications CISSP, CISM, or CRISC are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive security assessments and gap analyses for clients.
• Develop tailored cybersecurity strategies, policies, and roadmaps.
• Advise on controls and best practices for risk mitigation.
• Provide expertise in data privacy, cloud security and incident response planning.
• Assist clients in achieving and maintaining regulatory compliance.
• Prepare and present detailed reports and recommendations to stakeholders.
