Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
• 7+ years in information security with leadership/officer experience.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks, risk management, and incident response methodologies.
• Experience with cloud security principles.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement overarching information security strategies and policies across the organization.
• Oversee risk assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response planning and execution.
• Ensure compliance with relevant data protection laws and industry standards (e.g., POPIA, ISO 27001).
• Manage security awareness training programs for all employees, fostering a culture of security vigilance.
• Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify and address potential weaknesses.

• Stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
