Job summary

Franklin Smith Group is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their high-performing NZ team and manage all QS duties on projects up to NZ$60 million. The role requires a qualification and a minimum of 8 years’ experience in a commercial main contractor setting.

You will be expected to hit the ground running, deliver accurate cost control, foster client and subcontractor relationships, and contribute to ongoing project delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Commercial main contractor environment in New Zealand.
• High level of commercial acumen with a relationship-focused approach.
• Track record delivering projects of similar scale (up to NZ$60 million).
• Ability to hit the ground running and manage all QS duties.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all aspects of Quantity Surveying on projects up to NZ$60 million.
• Provide cost planning, estimating, and commercial control from start to finish.
• Maintain strong client and subcontractor relationships.
• Support leadership pathway into commercial management.
