The Ministry for Cities, Environment,Regionsand Transport (MCERT) takes a long-term view of how New Zealand’s towns, cities and regions grow and change. We work across housing, transport, the environment, urban development, infrastructure and investment, and partner closely with local government.

About the role
As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead the planning and delivery of complex, high-risk projects that contribute directly to ministerial and organisational priorities.
You'll work across business groups, government agencies and sector partners, bringing together diverse teams to deliver outcomes in a fast-paced and evolving environment. Your ability to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities and maintain a strong delivery focus will be key to your success.
This is a highly collaborative leadership role where you'll not only manage projects but also build capability by coaching project leads, project managers and coordinators while supporting effective governance and decision-making.
