Job summary

Absolute IT is seeking a senior, hands-on Delivery Lead to take control of a complex software development and implementation project already in progress in central Auckland.

You will lead a team of consultants and developers across multiple locations, ensuring scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, testing, and go-live activities are effectively managed. Visa sponsorship is not provided; NZ work rights required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering complex software projects.
• ERP implementation experience highly regarded.
• Experience managing developers, consultants, vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to identify bottlenecks, manage risks, and control scope creep.
• Experience leading UAT, testing, and go-live activities.
• Delivery-focused with accountability.
• Technical understanding to work with developers and technical teams.

You’ll be leading a team of consultants and developers across multiple locations, ensuring scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, testing, and go-live activities are effectively managed.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience delivering complex software development and implementation projects
• ERP implementation experience highly regarded
• Experience managing developers, consultants, vendors, and business stakeholders
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to identify bottlenecks, manage risks, and control scope creep
• Experience leading UAT, testing, and go-live activities
• Strong delivery focus with the confidence to challenge teams and hold people accountable
• Sufficient technical understanding to work effectively with developers and technical teams
