Beca Group in Christchurch, New Zealand is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead cross‑disciplinary buildings and infrastructure projects, guiding delivery from initiation through handover.

You will build strong client relationships, apply robust governance and financial controls, mentor junior staff, and contribute strategic, commercial insight across sectors such as aviation, defence, education and transport.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of demonstrated experience in buildings and infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of the local market and operating environment.
• Tertiary qualifications aligned to construction project management consulting.
• Experience in design management, planning and delivery, and strategic advice.
• Ability to build relationships and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Knowledge of NZS 391X contracts and Engineer's Representative experience.

This is a unique opportunity to join the Beca Project and Programme team based in Christchurch, providing strategic advice and leadership across project management including leading projects from initiation and the design phase, through procurement, consenting, and into construction and handover. In this role, you will be applying your relationship-building abilities, along with your great communication skills, connecting across all parts of Beca and with our broad range of clients.
