Job summary

ConsultANZ in Auckland seeks a proactive Project Engineer with a strong background in structural engineering to join its civil infrastructure team. You will contribute to high-impact projects shaping the region's future and work on-site with a dynamic team.

The role requires at least five years of structural experience, knowledge of TMR specs, and strong communication and leadership skills. You will supervise subcontractors, monitor quality and OH&S, manage timelines, and assist with cost

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience on structural projects.
In-depth knowledge of TMR specifications.
Strong problem-solving skills with a solutions-oriented attitude.
Multidisciplinary experience, with some earthworks experience preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Previous experience working with main contractors.
Strong management skills for overseeing staff and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

Supervise works and subcontractors on the project to ensure smooth operations.
Monitor quality and ensure compliance with OH&S (Occupational Health and Safety) standards.
Track progress and ensure alignment with project timelines for your section of work.
Assist with cost tracking and financial reporting related to your section.
Manage and resolve any issues or delays within your scope of the project.
