Job summary

Archway Recruitment are partnering with a kiwi-owned engineering consultancy in Auckland to hire an Intermediate Structural Engineer. The role blends hands-on design with support for project delivery across civil, structural and electrical disciplines.

You will work alongside experienced engineers, develop your technical capabilities, and contribute to seismic strengthening and greenfield projects from concept through to completion.

Archway Recruitment are working with a well-established, kiwi-owned engineering consultancy based in Auckland. They deliver end-to-end engineering solutions across industrial infrastructure, energy, and power sectors in civil, structural and electrical engineering.

From feasibility and concept design through to detailed design, construction support, and project delivery, they’re involved with some of New Zealand’s key infrastructure projects.

The job on offer?

We’re looking for an Intermediate Structural Engineer to join a collaborative and technically strong team. This role offers a mix of hands‑on design work and the opportunity to support project delivery across multidisciplinary teams. Projects are newbuild design (greenfield sites), extension work to existing buildings and seismic strengthening. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers while building your project exposure and specialist capability.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll be a civil/structural engineer with solid design experience of heavy engineering or power related projects and a desire to continue developing your technical and project delivery skills.

You Will Be Involved In

• Structural design across infrastructure and energy/power projects
• Supporting project delivery and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams
