Job summary

Harper Smith Recruitment is seeking an Intermediate Structural Engineer to join a South Auckland design consultancy. Based in Auckland, you will contribute to commercial design and strengthening projects, while supporting a strong residential portfolio and coordinating with a skilled team.

The ideal candidate holds a BE from University of Auckland or Canterbury, has at least 4 years NZ experience, and can lead and manage projects with clear communication and seismic design proficiency.

Qualifications

• A BE degree from University of Auckland or University of Canterbury.
• Minimum of 4 years NZ-based experience.
• Proven commercial and residential buildings design experience.
• Ability to lead and manage a project.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Technically competent in seismic design/analysis.
• A firm grasp of New Zealand standards.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Intermediate Structural Engineer (4 years plus) - Auckland Based

We are working with a design Engineering Consultancy seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join their experienced design team out of their office in South Auckland. We are keen to talk to Engineers with experience in NZ who are at that intermediate to low senior level in terms of experience. You will be involved on design and construct commercial projects and some interesting strengthening projects. Additionally, the company have a strong residential portfolio of jobs. You will be working alongside a highly qualified team focused on high quality engineering services. You will be working with an excellent range of developers on projects across the country.

We are seeking applications from those who have:
