Job summary

Coromandel District Council is seeking a senior leader to shape and deliver its capital investment programme. You will lead the Project Delivery team, providing strategic oversight and practical delivery leadership across Council, elected members, iwi and partners.

You will drive governance, performance reporting and risk management to ensure long-term value for the district. Flexible working arrangements and relocation support may be available.

Qualifications

• Leadership of large project delivery teams and capital portfolios.
• Ability to forecast, report to senior governance bodies and manage risk.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Project Delivery team and oversee capital programme delivery.
• Plan, prioritise, forecast and provide performance oversight of the portfolio.
• Provide clear, decision-ready reporting for Council and committees.
• Governance of assigned programmes and projects and procurement oversight.
