Job summary

Auckland Council's Corporate Property team seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex capital works and renewal projects across the corporate property portfolio.

You will take ownership from initiation through to procurement, construction, completion and benefits realisation, coordinating internal teams, consultants and contractors to achieve outcomes with focus on time, budget, quality, risk and health and safety.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience delivering commercial office capital works and renewals.
• End-to-end project management from business case to delivery and benefits realization.
• Strong commercial and financial management including budget control and procurement.

Responsibilities

• Own projects from initiation and business case through to procurement, construction, completion and benefits realization.
• Lead internal teams, consultants and contractors to deliver projects on time, on budget and to quality and safety standards.
• Balance competing priorities in a complex environment while keeping stakeholders informed and delivering value for Auckland Council.
• Manage governance, procurement, contracts and change control to maintain momentum to delivery.
