Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in dynamic modelling of power systems.
• Experience with FACTS/HVDC control systems engineering.
• Python scripting.
• Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Postgraduate study in electrical engineering with a focus on power systems advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Model and analyse power system dynamics to support stable operation.
• Investigate and resolve power quality and transient issues.
• Support HVDC control system upgrades and dynamic reactive plant installations.
• Develop and refine policies, standards and operating procedures.
