Job summary
Department of Conservation (DOC) in Wellington invites applications for a Senior Portfolio Performance Advisor. You will co-lead portfolio analysis, reporting, and performance insights to support strategic investment decisions and portfolio optimisation across the organisation.
You will partner with senior leaders, governance groups, and delivery teams to ensure decision-makers have timely information to manage risks and maximise value.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in analytical, portfolio, programme, or project office roles.
- Strong understanding of project, programme, and portfolio management practices (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- Experience in PMO/Portfolio Office environments and governance reporting.
Responsibilities
- Co-lead enterprise portfolio reporting, analysis, and dashboard development for senior leaders and governance forums.
- Turn complex project, programme, financial, and performance data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
- Monitor portfolio performance, identify risks and trends, and recommend practical solutions.
- Analyse benefits realisation, investment performance, funding, and expenditure data to support strategic decision-making.
- Co-own and continuously improve the portfolio management system and its configuration.
