Westland Milk Products seeks a senior HR leader to shape the workforce strategy across manufacturing, processing and commercial functions. You will lead the HRBP network, partner with GMs and ELT, and translate business strategy into people initiatives.

You will drive organisational change, lead collective bargaining, and build leadership capability to improve engagement, retention and wellbeing across multiple sites. This is a hands-on, influential role with genuine reach.

Formación

• A degree in Human Resources, Employment Relations, Business or a related discipline is required.
• 10+ years of senior HR or people partnering experience in manufacturing, industrial or operational settings.
• Extensive collective bargaining and union negotiation experience with strong employment law knowledge.
• Proven track record leading large-scale organisational change initiatives.
• Experience leading cross-site business partnering teams and senior stakeholder coaching.

Shape the workforce behind one of New Zealand's leading dairy manufacturers. This is a rare senior people leadership role where your influence reaches every part of the business, from the factory floor to the commercial team.

About the role

You'll lead our people partnering function across manufacturing, processing, supply chain, milk supply and commercial, leading the HRBP network and partnering directly with GMs and senior leaders to turn business strategy into workforce reality. Reporting to the GM People & Culture, you'll be a senior member of the People & Culture leadership team, shaping workforce strategy, driving transformation and building the leadership capability that keeps our business performing.

What you'll do

• Be the trusted advisor to Operations, Milk Supply and Commercial leaders, offering constructive challenge on organisation design, capability and culture
• Lead, coach and develop our HRBP network
• Act as chief negotiator for Collective Employment Agreements and lead complex employment relations matters
• Drive organisational change and transformation programmes across our sites
• Lead workforce planning, succession and talent pipelines for critical roles, and manage labour cost and workforce efficiency
• Build leadership capability and lift engagement, retention and wellbeing

What you'll bring
