Job summary

Sealed Air Corporation is seeking a motivated Service Engineer to install, service and maintain its packaging equipment across New Zealand, with the primary base in Hamilton. You will supervise installation, conduct inspections and train customers on usage and maintenance.

The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical aptitude, with willingness to travel, work flexible hours (including weekends), and produce accurate service records.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or service industries.
• Installation experience with packaging machinery preferred.
• Willingness to travel and work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the installation or commissioning of Sealed Air equipment at the customer's site.
• Perform servicing, maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs.
• Educate customers on equipment usage and maintenance.
• Assist Sales with audits and proposals and provide reports.
