Job summary

Environment Canterbury is seeking an experienced Senior Operations Reporting Advisor to lead the development and continuous improvement of operational reporting, data quality and reporting systems across regulatory functions.

You'll translate complex datasets into meaningful insights, support planning and decision-making, and partner with analysts and stakeholders to drive data maturity and improved outcomes for Canterbury.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in data management and reporting
• Advanced data analysis, cleansing and modelling skills
• Ability to present data in clear, intuitive visuals
• Strong stakeholder management and communication with diverse audiences
• Experience with data governance and data quality initiatives

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and improve reporting processes, systems and automation
• Analyze complex datasets and translate insights into recommendations
• Forecast future operational reporting requirements
• Provide technical guidance and training to system users
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual reporting
• Collaborate with operational and business teams to drive continuous improvement
• Support data maturity and data quality initiatives
