Job summary

Datacom is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant to drive offensive security initiatives across applications, BAS and AI red teaming. You will conduct adversarial testing, risk analysis, and provide actionable remediation while supporting threat modelling and secure code reviews.

The role can be based anywhere in New Zealand with a preference for offices. You will collaborate with security teams to implement testing capabilities, stay ahead of emerging threats, and deliver world-class

Qualifications

• Experience in offensive security and penetration testing in enterprise or consulting settings.
• Hands-on with BAS, AI red teaming and adversarial testing.
• Ability to support threat modelling and secure code reviews offensively.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive penetration testing on applications, APIs, networks and systems.
• Design and execute BAS campaigns to test detection and response.
• Conduct AI red teaming assessments for ML models and AI apps.
• Develop attack plans, test cases and exploits during engagements.
• Prepare reports and remediation guidance for clients.
