Job summary

Datacom is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant to lead offensive security engagements across applications, APIs, and networks. You will design and execute BAS campaigns, perform AI Red Teaming assessments, and deliver actionable remediation guidance to clients across New Zealand.

You will contribute to threat modelling, secure code reviews, and offensive security initiatives while staying ahead of evolving threats.

Qualifications

• Experience in Offensive Security and Penetration Testing in enterprise or consulting settings.
• Familiarity with BAS, AI Red Teaming and adversarial testing concepts.
• Ability to support threat modelling and secure code reviews with offensive insights.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive penetration testing on applications, APIs, networks and systems.
• Design BAS campaigns to test detection and response capabilities.
• Conduct AI Red Teaming assessments on ML models, LLMs, and AI-powered apps.
• Formulate attack plans, test cases and working exploits.
• Prepare reports with remediation guidance and deliver client workshops.
