Job summary

Datacom in New Zealand is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant to lead offensive security engagements across penetration testing, BAS campaigns and AI red teaming. You will design attack scenarios, develop exploits, and produce actionable remediation guidance for external clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in Offensive Security and Penetration Testing within an enterprise or consulting environment.
• Experience with Breach & Attack Simulations and AI Red Teaming is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of secure coding practices, threat modelling methodologies and ability to support secure code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive penetration testing on applications, APIs, networks and systems using manual and automated methods.
• Design and execute Breach & Attack Simulation (BAS) campaigns to test detection and response capabilities.
• Conduct AI Red Teaming assessments to identify vulnerabilities in ML models and AI-powered apps.
• Formulate attack plans and test cases during engagements.
• Prepare detailed reports with remediation guidance and deliver client workshops.
• Collaborate with security teams to develop testing capabilities and defensive strategies.
• Stay updated with emerging threats and trends.
