New Zealand Government in Wellington seeks a Senior Ministerial Services Advisor to provide expert responses to ministerial requests, engage across TWSD and MBIE, and mentor team members. This fixed-term role offers exposure to high-profile portfolios and robust professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

You will draft OIAs, MOIAs, ministerial correspondence, privacy requests and parliamentary questions, collaborating to uphold quality service delivery under tight

Qualifications

• At least 1 year leading and writing responses to OIAs, Privacy Act requests and/or responding to Ombudsman requests.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, rules and parliamentary processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to form robust professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and within tight timeframes.
• Knowledge of ISO9001:2015 quality management system.

Responsabilités

• Draft replies to ministerial products including IOAs, MOIAs, Ministerial Correspondence, Privacy Requests, Ombudsman requests and Written Parliamentary Questions.
• Collaborate with TWSD branches and MBIE to source information and advice.
• Provide coaching/mentoring and technical advice to other Ministerial Services team members.
• Contribute to team processes to ensure consistent and quality service delivery.
