Job summary

BePure Group in New Zealand is seeking a Senior Manager - Online & Growth to lead the next stage of its digital growth journey for BePure and Eve Wellness. You will own the strategy and commercial performance of ecommerce channels, paid acquisition, lifecycle marketing, and marketplaces across multiple markets.

You will lead a capable team and set direction while remaining hands-on when needed, driving growth and cross-functional alignment as the business scales.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience across ecommerce, digital growth and/or online commercial functions.
• Strong commercial mindset with revenue, CAC, ROAS and growth targets.
• Ability to coach specialists and get hands-on when needed.
• Experience with Shopify, Klaviyo and digital analytics tools.
• Experience with Amazon and/or TikTok Shop is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the overall Online & Growth strategy across ecommerce, paid acquisition, lifecycle, marketplaces and emerging digital channels.
• Set the commercial direction, priorities and performance targets across revenue, CAC, ROAS, conversion, AOV, retention and LTV.
• Lead the evolution of ecommerce, paid media and new online revenue streams including Amazon, TikTok Shop and future marketplace opportunities.
• Turn data and market opportunities into clear priorities, enabling the team to contribute to strategy and execution.
• Lead and develop the Online & Growth team with clear accountability and cross-functional alignment.

We’re now looking for an experienced Senior Manager - Online & Growth to lead the next stage of our digital growth journey.

About the role

This is a newly created leadership role with ownership of our Online & Growth function across BePure and Eve Wellness.

You’ll lead the strategy and commercial performance of our ecommerce channels, paid acquisition, lifecycle marketing, marketplaces and overall digital customer journey across multiple markets. You’ll bring these areas together into one connected growth engine, ensuring our online activity is commercially strong, customer-led and aligned with the wider business.

You’ll inherit a capable team including our Paid Media Manager and Ecommerce Specialists, with the opportunity to continue building out the function as we grow. This isn’t a role for someone who wants to be across every tiny detail, we’re looking for a strong people leader who can set the direction, create clarity and give their team the autonomy and ownership to do great work.

At the same time, we’re a growing business, so you’ll need to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves and getting close to the work when the opportunity, complexity or business need calls for it.

What your day could look like

• Own and drive the overall Online & Growth strategy across ecommerce, paid acquisition, lifecycle, marketplaces and emerging digital channels.
• Set the commercial direction, priorities and performance targets across revenue, CAC, ROAS, conversion, AOV, retention and LTV.
• Lead the evolution of ecommerce, paid media and new online revenue streams including Amazon, TikTok Shop and future marketplace opportunities.
• Turn data, customer insight and market opportunities into clear priorities, empowering the Paid Media Manager and eComm specialists to contribute to strategy and own execution, testing and optimisation within their areas.
• Lead and develop the Online & Growth team, creating clear accountability, autonomy and strong cross-functional alignment as the function continues to scale.

• Understand ecommerce and paid media well enough to coach specialists and get on the tools when needed.
• Have experience with platforms such as Shopify, Klaviyo and digital analytics tools.
• Know paid acquisition across Meta, Google and TikTok.
• Have experience with Amazon and/or TikTok Shop (ideally, but not required)
• Have worked across multiple markets or international ecommerce environments.
• Are a strong people leader who creates clarity without micromanaging.
• Bring a curious, commercial and test-and-learn mindset.
• Have experience in wellness, beauty, FMCG or another fast-moving consumer category
