SkyCity Hamilton is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to join the Building Services team. This hands‑on role focuses on maintaining HVAC, refrigeration and electrical systems, ensuring safe and compliant operations across our Hamilton site.
Reporting to the Facility Manager, you will perform preventative maintenance and reactive repairs, manage maintenance records, and collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to optimise performance and costs.

We're looking for a skilled and proactive Senior Maintenance Technician - HVAC & Electrical to join our Building Services team. Reporting to the Facility Manager, this role is responsible for the maintenance, repair and compliance of critical building systems, with a particular focus on HVAC, refrigeration and electrical services across our Hamilton site.
This is a hands-on technical role where you'll be responsible for planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and ensuring our facilities remain compliant with all relevant Health & Safety and regulatory requirements.
You'll work closely with internal stakeholders and external contractors to maintain the highest standards across our property and infrastructure. From HVAC and refrigeration systems through to electrical coordination and general building maintenance, you'll play a key role in keeping SkyCity Hamilton operating at its best.

This role does not involve fixed working hours. While standard hours are typically worked, there may be occasions where operational requirements require an earlier start, a later finish, or adjustments to working patterns. This may include weekend or public holiday work on rare occasions. There may also be times when unforeseen issues arise that require the team to remain on site until the matter has been resolved.
