SkyCity Hamilton is hiring a Kitchen Steward to support our chefs and maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment. You will stack dishwashers, clean fridges and floors, and help with basic food preparation while ensuring high standards of hygiene.

Mō te Tūranga | About the role:

As a Kitchen Steward you will be responsible for supporting our chefs by stacking dishwashers, cleaning fridges, floors, removing rubbish and other ad hoc kitchen duties.

You will also;

• Help out the chefs with some basic food prep
• Assist in creating and maintaining a safe working environment
• Assist in the preparations for stock takes

This isapart-time position, working a roster that includes nights and weekends. Preference will be given to applicants who are flexible in their availability. This role will include weekend and late-night shifts.

It'll be your winning positive attitude, adaptability, and attention to detail which will make you a great fit for SkyCity.

To be successful in this role, you will also;

• Have fantastic interpersonal skills and be a confident and clear communicator
• Be well presented with a high level of professionalism
• Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to work a variety of shifts
• Be aged 20 years or older due to this role requiring access to the Main Gaming Floor
