Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency in Hamilton is seeking a Maintenance Contract Manager to lead the Integrated Delivery Contract (IDC) for West Waikato, overseeing contract administration, compliance, and programme delivery. You will drive contractor performance, build collaborative supplier relationships, and ensure value-for-money while keeping NZ state highways safe, resilient, and future-ready.

This role requires NZS3917/3910 experience, strong commercial acumen, and a NZ Driver’s Licence,

Qualifications

• Experience managing complex infrastructure maintenance contracts (NZS3917/3910 preferred)
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
• NZ Driver’s Licence is required
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Financial management including forecasting and value assessment

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Integrated Delivery Contract (IDC) for West Waikato, including contract administration and programme delivery
• Drive contractor performance and implement improvement plans
• Foster collaborative supplier relationships and deliver value-for-money outcomes
• Provide contract management, technical oversight and emergency response as needed
