Job summary

Quantum Automation Pte Ltd seeks an Electrical/Mechanical site supervisor to oversee installations of PA, Fire Alarm, Structured Cabling, BMS, CCTV and Card Access in Queenstown, NZ. You will manage the full project cycle with minimal supervision and coordinate with main contractors and subcontractors.

Responsibilities include inspecting against shop drawings and method statements, submitting inspection forms, tracking site activities, ensuring safety, updating as-built drawings, and delivering

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3-6 years of relevant site supervision or engineering experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation and coordination of PA, Fire Alarm, Structured Cabling, BMS, CCTV, and Card Access.
• Manage the full project cycle independently with minimal supervision.
• Liaise with main contractors and subcontractors to resolve coordination and installation issues.
• Inspect site installations against shop drawings, CSD drawings, and Method Statements.
• Prepare and submit inspection forms for approval by RE/RTO.
• Track site activities, report obstructions to main contractors, and ensure timely inspections, testing, and commissioning sign-offs.
• Ensure all workers comply with workplace safety requirements.
• Update As-built drawings and hand over to engineers.
• Prepare weekly progress reports and submit to Project Engineers/Managers.
• Identify and document variation or abortive works with supporting photos/drawings for submission to main contractors.
• Conduct regular meetings with subcontractors and attend site coordination meetings with external parties.
• Ensure company quality standards are achieved across all site activities.
• Assist in new assignments or projects as required.
