An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Librarian Community Engagement to join the team on a fixed-term or secondment basis until 31 July 2027.You’ll be primarily based at Glen Innes Library, with flexibility to work across libraries within the Maungakiekie-Tāmaki Local Board as required.
This is a 31-hour per week role, worked Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
In this senior, community-focused role, you’ll lead and contribute to the day-to-day delivery of frontline library services while growing Glen Innes Library’s reach and connection across the community.You’ll provide leadership and coaching to the team, champion excellent customer service, and build strong relationships that support community-led opportunities and meaningful outcomes for the people of Glen Innes. You’ll balance community engagement with the changing operational needs of a busy library.

Salary: Band G, $91 - $107K per annum, depending on skills & experience
