Join the New Lynn Hub team as aLibraries & Council Services Assistantto bring energy, creativity, and innovation to the wider Whau Local Boardcommunity.

This is a fixed term 22-hour per week position that includes a regular weekend day (Monday, Friday, and Saturday) and is currently based at New Lynn Library. You will need to also need to be flexible and able to work across the Whau Local Board libraries.

Our library whānau is focused on caring for each other, our community, and our environment. New Lynn Library is known for promoting green literacy, collaborating with community partners, and welcoming people from all walks of life.

We are looking for someone who will muck-in to do whatever needs doing. You will play an active role in daily operations, ensuring patrons have an all-round excellent library experience. Your mahi will include supporting day-to-day operations and the development and delivery of programmes driven by community needs.Every day is different which is what makes it fun!

A warm collaborative team culture.

Salary: $67,414 - 79,310 depending on experience.
