Are you an experienced Civil Construction Leader looking for a new challenge?

We are working with a highly respected civil contracting organisation seeking a senior industry professional to join their leadership team. This is an opportunity for someone with substantial contracting experience who can combine strong technical knowledge with commercial acumen, leadership capability and a proven ability to deliver complex civil projects.

We are particularly interested in people with 10-20 years' experience within the civil construction industry, ideally having developed their career from the ground up in a contracting environment.

The role:

This is a senior leadership position for someone who can operate confidently across project delivery, commercial management, contract management and people leadership.

The successful candidate will ideally bring significant experience across areas such as:

• Drainage, Three Waters and/or civil structures
• Technical civil contracting, particularly renewals and infrastructure works
• Project management and commercial management
• Significant contract management experience
• Leading multiple projects, teams and senior managers
• Mentoring and developing Project Managers, Site Managers and other key personnel
• Managing commercial performance, budgets, variations, claims and risk
• Building strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and other stakeholders
• Operating confidently at senior leadership and executive level

We are looking for someone with a driven attitude, strong work ethic and genuine leadership capability. You will be someone who takes ownership, understands what it takes to deliver successfully in a contracting environment and has the credibility to lead from the front.

What we're looking for:

Your current title is less important than the depth and breadth of your experience. You may currently be working as a:

• Senior Project Manager
• Senior Contracts Manager
• Divisional Manager
• Regional Manager
• Operations Manager
• Civil Construction Manager

Most importantly, you will have significant hands-on contracting experience, strong technical and commercial capability, and the ability to lead and develop others.

You will also need to be a polished and professional communicator, capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels - from site teams and subcontractors through to clients, consultants, senior management and executive leadership.

This is a senior appointment, and the salary and overall package will reflect the level of experience, expertise and leadership capability you bring to the organisation.
