Job summary

Potentia is seeking a senior project manager/programme manager to lead complex, business-led technology initiatives and drive transformation across the delivery function. You will own key applications, engage with senior stakeholders, and mentor other Project Managers to strengthen practices and governance across the team.

You will play a pivotal role as a trusted 2IC to the Head of Project Delivery, shaping delivery priorities and ensuring outcomes in a diverse organisational environment.

Qualifications

• Proven 7+ years’ experience in project management roles
• Proven experience delivering complex, high-value ICT projects or programmes
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including executive-level engagement
• Proven experience managing project teams, vendors, budgets, risks, and governance
• Project management certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, PMI, Agile/Scrum, CSM, or PMI-ACP
• Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A practical, collaborative and outcomes-focused approach
• Proven experience improving project delivery maturity across teams

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, business-led technology initiatives and drive successful outcomes
• Own important applications and business transformation projects with senior stakeholders
• Collaborate across the wider delivery team and influence project practices and ways of working
• Support and mentor Project Managers, acting as a trusted 2IC to the Head of Project Delivery
• Help strengthen delivery capability and governance across multiple business areas
