Job summary

Kirimana is a New Zealand owned recruitment and workforce contracting company operating across construction, trades and engineering throughout New Zealand. We’re seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our Auckland team.

This is an opportunity to own an established portfolio while expanding your client and candidate network. You’ll manage the full recruitment process and build strong relationships across key accounts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ recruitment experience preferred or strong sales background.
• Strong consultative sales approach and relationship building.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and client management skills.
• Experience with ATS and recruitment tools is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue and gross profit targets.
• Source candidates using job boards, social media, networking and referrals; maintain a strong pipeline.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment: briefs, shortlisting, interviewing, offers and onboarding support.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships; act as primary contact for key accounts.
• Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities and create tailored recruitment solutions.
• Attend industry events and proactively network to grow business and candidate reach.
• Report on sales pipeline health and forecast revenue; meet KPIs.

We’re seeking a driven Recruitment Consultant to deliver exceptional recruitment outcomes for our clients and grow profitable business. You’ll manage end-to-end recruitment, develop client relationships, build candidate pipelines and hit targets through proactive sales and excellent service.

Key responsibilities

The Opportunity

Kirimana is looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our Auckland team.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of an established portfolio while continuing to grow your own client and candidate network. Our core business is construction, trades and engineering, working with companies and projects across New Zealand.

We are looking for someone who understands recruitment as a commercial business. You will need to build strong relationships, identify opportunities, understand your market and consistently deliver for both clients and candidates.

What We're Looking For

You’ll manage the full recruitment process while developing and growing your portfolio. You should be comfortable speaking with clients, getting out into the market and creating opportunities rather than waiting for them to come to you.

• Manage and grow an established portfolio of clients, candidates and contractors
• Develop new business through calls, meetings, networking and strong industry relationships
• Recruit across temporary, contract and permanent positions
• Build genuine knowledge of your clients, industries, projects and candidate market
• Take ownership of your performance, revenue, activity and the quality of service you provide

Previous recruitment experience is preferred, particularly within construction, trades, engineering or another temporary labour environment. However, we are also interested in proven sales professionals with strong relationship building skills and the commercial drive to succeed in recruitment.
