Job summary

Les Mills New Zealand is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to drive a proactive safety culture across our 12 clubs. This sole-charge role offers autonomy and variety, supporting incident and risk management and owning the H&S management system.

You’ll engage with the Board, SLT and club leaders, delivering audits, reporting and practical improvements. Flexible to part-time (30–35 hours) or full-time (40 hours) based on experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in senior H&S roles or equivalent.
• Strong risk, incident and contractor management experience.
• Solid knowledge of NZ health and safety legislation.
• Experience implementing H&S management systems.
• Proven ability to influence and coach across leadership levels.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead H&S audits and initiatives across 12 clubs.
• Provide reporting and insights to the Board and leaders.
• Support incident, risk management and improvements to the H&S system.
• Collaborate with SLT, clubs and external partners to drive safety culture.
