Job summary
Peninsula in New Zealand is expanding its Health & Safety leadership team to support trusted advisory services across the ANZ region. You will guide a high-performing group, drive performance through KPIs, and ensure quality in client assessments and risk management documentation.
The role requires strong NZ H&S knowledge, exceptional stakeholder engagement, and the ability to travel across New Zealand to meet clients and deliver service improvements.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership in Health & Safety roles.
- Strong knowledge of NZ H&S legislation.
- Qualified H&S professional with relevant certification.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management.
- Commercial awareness with prioritization skills.
- Organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Collaborative and solutions-focused approach.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of Health & Safety Consultants and Advisors.
- Drive performance by managing workloads, KPIs, and service standards.
- Review and quality assure client assessments, reports, and risk documentation.
- Partner with the Head of Health & Safety NZ for workforce planning and improvement initiatives.
- Travel across New Zealand to attend client meetings and strengthen relationships.
