Job summary

Lumino Frankton, part of Lumino The Dentists, seeks an experienced Senior Receptionist to lead front-of-house operations at our Queenstown practice. You will drive an exceptional patient journey, support the team, and ensure smooth day-to-day running with the Practice Manager and clinical team.

Ideal candidates have dental reception experience, strong appointment management skills, and a passion for customer service in a busy, patient-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional patient experience from the first phone call through to treatment completion.
• Lead front-of-house operations and set the standard for customer service excellence.
• Manage appointments, recalls, treatment follow-ups, and clinician schedules.
• Welcome patients and ensure a warm, professional practice environment.
• Process payments, manage accounts, and assist with finance enquiries.
• Maintain accurate patient records and administrative systems.
• Support onboarding and training of new reception team members.
• Collaborate with clinicians to optimise scheduling and patient care.
• Handle patient enquiries and resolve concerns with professionalism.
• Assist with daily administration, banking, reporting and general operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive practice performance.
• Support business initiatives contributing to patient growth and practice success.
