Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Portfolio Manager to oversee fixed income portfolios for institutional and retail clients. Based in Queenstown, you will construct and manage portfolios to meet investment objectives while navigating risk and market dynamics.

You will conduct macroeconomic analysis, select securities, monitor performance, and communicate strategy and results to clients and stakeholders. Strong quantitative skills and collaboration with teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics.
• Minimum 5 years in portfolio management with a fixed income focus.
• Master's degree and CFA designation highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement investment strategies for fixed income portfolios.
• Conduct macroeconomic analysis and fixed income research.
• Select and manage government/corporate bonds and money market instruments.
• Monitor performance, attribution, and adjust asset allocation.
• Manage interest rate, credit, and liquidity risk; report to clients.
