Placements24 is seeking a proactive Risk Management Specialist for its Queenstown team. You will identify, assess, and mitigate risks to support operational resilience and financial stability in a hybrid work environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in risk management, COSO knowledge, and strong analytical and communication skills. You will collaborate with multiple departments to embed a strong risk culture and protect company assets and reputation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in risk management or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of COSO frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency with risk software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and prioritize risks across the organization.
• Develop risk management strategies and mitigation plans.
• Design risk assessments including scenario analysis and stress testing.
• Monitor effectiveness of risk controls and propose improvements.
• Prepare risk reports for senior management and committees.
• Promote a risk-aware culture throughout the company.
