Job summary

WSP in New Zealand is seeking a Team Lead for Fire and Life Safety to spearhead the NZ-wide practice from one of our main centres (Auckland, Christchurch, Hamilton or Wellington). The role combines technical leadership with people management and commercial influence, delivering high-quality engineering solutions for a broad client base.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification and Chartered Engineer status with 10+ years in fire & life safety engineering.
• Proven people leadership with coaching and capability development.
• Strategic thinking with ability to translate goals into action.
• Strong business, commercial, and financial management skills in professional services.
• Experience identifying and converting business development opportunities and building client relationships.
• Clear, engaging communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
