Job summary

PwC New Zealand is seeking an Associate to join the Finance, Economics and Analytics team in Wellington. You will deliver analytical and consulting projects, turning data into insights and practical recommendations for clients across industries.

You will work with large datasets, build financial models and performance analyses, and communicate findings to senior stakeholders while mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to a learning culture.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 4 years' experience in corporate, government, regulated or consulting sectors with quantitative analysis.

Responsibilities

• Deliver analytical and consulting projects across industries, combining quantitative analysis, research, and commercial thinking to solve client problems.
• Work with large or complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, variation and performance drivers.
• Build understanding by bringing together financial, operational and other data for portfolio performance insights.
• Undertake financial modelling, forecasting, cost-benefit and performance analyses to support decisions.
• Synthesize data and stakeholder perspectives into clear insights and practical recommendations.
• Create clear analyses and visuals for senior decision-makers.
• Coach and supervise junior team members and foster a learning culture.
• Build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
